iPhone adds Walkie-talkie feature
The Microsoft Teams app is gearing up to bring a new feature for voice interaction on the iPhone for its users, due to which the iPhone could soon function like a walkie-talkie. A report says that Microsoft is working on bringing the walkie-talkie feature to the Teams app for iPhone. This feature could come to iPhone by May.
As reported by Business Today, this innovation is going to provide users with a secure voice communication experience. iPhone users can avail the walkie-talkie function right from their phone's lock screen. This integration is expected to be implemented in May, although the developers say that there are some unforeseen challenges, due to which its rollout may be slightly delayed.
According to the information, Microsoft is going to use Apple's Push-to-Talk framework for the walkie-talkie feature. It will be accessible on GCC Cloud Instances for Microsoft Teams on iOS and Android platforms.
